It may be a good idea to check the color of your urine the next time you go pee in the toilet. The color of your urine directly corresponds to how hydrated your system is, and it is usually a good indication of how healthy your body is. People in good health will usually see urine that is a pale shade of yellow. Naturally, your pee changes color in proportion to fluid intake. In other words, if you drink a lot of water before you go pee, your urine will be colorless. If you are dehydrated, possibly due to lack of fluids in your system, the urine will be a darker shade of yellow. So, why is urine yellow, regardless if a person has drunk anything yellow or not?

CEO stands for Chief Executive Officer and is the title given to the person in an organization, company or group that holds the top position.
CEO has replaced the title of President in recent years. Maybe because it has less of a political reference, or maybe just because it has a nicer ring to it. Whatever the reason, a CEO can either head up a department, or run the whole show. They may be elected, appointed, or may appoint themselves if they are the owner of the company.

For hundreds of years there has been an immense amount of speculation as to why the majority of the population are right handed. Although this has been researched by a variety of different researchers and scientists, there has yet to be a direct reason as to why more people are right handed than left handed. Considering that there are several different contributors to right handedness versus left handedness, the amount of reasons is endless.
It is said that 70%-95% of humans are right handed and 5%-30% are left handed, meaning that right handed individuals are the majority. As for the rest of the population, they are ambidextrous meaning that both of their hands are their primary writing hands. There has been genetic evidence that explains how right handedness has evolved throughout families but opposing sides do not agree with this conclusion. One group of individuals believe its genetics and the other half believe that it has a direct cultural influence.

The current worlds record for the longest span of time without sleep is 264 hours or 11 days. This worlds record was set by Randy Gardner, who at the time was a 17 year old high school student. World records aside, how long can a person go without sleep?
Sleep plays an important role in our lives. While we sleep our bodies release vital hormones, our cells repair themselves, and your brain and your body recharge. We start off as babies requiring an average of 16 hours a day of sleep, and move down to 10 or so between the ages of 3 and 18 years of age. Those 19 to 55 years of age need about 8 hours, but once we’re over 65 this shortens to around 6 hours.
Here are some interesting facts about sleep:
- Giraffes are the shortest sleeping mammals at 1.9 hours on average per day (and only 5-10 minutes at a time!).
- Blind people can still see images in their dreams, but those born blind experience sound, smell, emotion and touch in theirs.
- You are sure to die faster from sleep deprivation than you will before food deprivation, as you can die after 10 days of no sleep, whereas it takes 2 weeks or more to starve to death.
